Project 1: 12-inch Scrapbook Layout
Meet Alten, our newest Altenew character! This lovable bear enjoys singing tunes and riding bikes, and this stamp set features his interests in adorable cartoon images.
I added a tree for the 12-inch scrapbook layout by cutting out the Our Family Tree from the Our Family Scrapbook Collection. I used the Embossing Paste to create dimensions for the leaves and tree trunk. Then I applied green colors for the leaves from the Mixed Media Inks and brown colors from the Delectable Delights Oval Set.
To stamp the bike, I first stamped the Jet Black Mixed Media Ink and then stamped and embossed by using the Copper Crisp Embossing Powder and Embossing Ink.
My recent favorite tool is this Ink Blending Tool-Large. The large tool features soft white bristles and it let me blend ink seamlessly!
Project2: Art Journal
By using the Ink Blending Tool and the Mixed Media Inks, I enjoyed creating an art journal page. There is no answer or right or wrong for an art jounal, so just have fan!
